Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) in Melbourne

Australian Financial Complaints Authority fairly and independently resolves disputes between consumers — including some small businesses — and member financial services providers. Membership of Australian Financial Complaints Authority is open to any financial services provider carrying on business in Australia.

The independent dispute resolution processes covers financial services disputes including banking, credit, loans, general insurance, life insurance, financial planning, investments, stock broking, managed funds and pooled superannuation trusts. They also cover estate planning, estate management and trustee services.

How to Make Complaints

SES works closely with municipal councils throughout Victoria to develop emergency management plans, providing advice, information, education and training. We are also required to audit Municipal Emergency Management Plans every three years.

SES also engages directly with communities, educating Victorians on how to prepare for natural hazards. Programs are aimed at building resilient communities that are less affected by flood, storm, tsunami and earthquake.
